The Moon. Poetry. Folklore. Culture
15th December, 7.30pm. £5 on the door.
The moon has held a central place in human imagination and culture for all the time there have been humans to watch it’s nightly course across the sky. Dr Alexandra Loske has written two books about the moon. She is an art historian and a curator at Brighton Pavillion, she is the Managing Editor of the Frogmore Press, a poetry publisher based in Lewes but with a national reputation. Alexandra is a fascinating speaker with a wide breadth of knowledge across her subject. It promises to be an excellent evening. Please do book yourself in early by contacting the shop.
